ABOUT VOLUNTEERING

The Little Cedars PTA is an non-profit organization, and we welcome any families, teachers, staff, students, and caring community members to volunteer with us. Volunteers must follow our Standing Rules, money handling procedures, and other policies found here. Training and support is always available!

PTA is happy to have your help, whether from home or in the school building. Talk to us about our volunteer opportunities and how you can stay involved! If a volunteer role requires certain hours or location, your PTA Board contact will let you know or it will be listed in the volunteer description. 

LITTLE CEDARS VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS 

To help in the Little Cedars school building or on field trips, volunteers must follow all Snohomish School District and Little Cedars policies. Background checks are required. When entering the campus, please sign in at the front desk in the office. 

For 2022-23: State rules require volunteers on the school campus to be fully vaccinated against Covid19.

A completed online Volunteer Application is required for any field trip chaperone or person volunteering in a classroom at Little Cedars, including WatchDOGS. A background check will be conducted after you submit your online application. Volunteer applications are valid for two years from the approval date. Upon approval, please bring the email and badge received to the school office where you will be volunteering.
