Every year, in cooperation with the Snohomish Education Foundation, the LIttle Cedars PTA awards three $1,000 scholarships to high school students from Glacier Peak, Snohomish, and AIM High Schools.

The requirements are having attended Little Cedars for at least three years along with volunteering here.

We had over 20 submissions and it was a difficult choice to whom we would award. We thank the seniors for sharing their stories and plans with us in their applications.

This year's awardees are:

• Hailey Kenyon (GPHS) - Girl Scouts and Hi-Cap Volunteer 

• Lily Grace Whitman (GPHS) - Grizzly Cub Volunteer 

• Carly Michelle Simicich (GPHS) - Band Buddies and Concert Volunteer
