PTA Openings 2025-2026!

 

We would love for you to join our team to help connect with our LCE students and teachers! 

Open positions for 2025-2026 School Year:

Advocacy Chair: Keep our Wolverine families informed about advocate & legislative news from the Region & State PTA groups to the Board and membership, via meetings, Wolverine Weekly and website
 
Membership Chair: Educate families on the benefits of joining PTA. organize and run the PTA membership drives, provides membership updates during PTA meetings and in Wolverine Weekly
 
Yearbook Co-Chair: Learn the ropes from our outgoing Yearbook Chair! Guide Yearbook Committee volunteers on creating pages, editing the final book, keeping the schedule on track, etc. We need someone to take over next year - as it's our current chair's final year with LCE.

Nell Cross Beckerman writes books for children, inspired by adventure and connection found through nature.

A former documentary TV producer at The Discovery Channel, MSNBC, VH1, MTV, and Nickelodeon, she grew up in Southern California with a biologist father and librarian mother. Combining science and poetry delights her!

"My mission is to share my enthusiasm of the magic of the world, and inspire connections—connection to yourself, connection to others, and connection to the world. My other mission is to have fun!"
